Advanex Europe appoint new Managing Director
Advanex Europe has recently appointed Ian Beardsmore as Managing Director. Ian has been selected as Managing Director as the previous appointment, Paul Clifford assumes the role of Chairman after 25 years in the role of Managing Director.
As part of the global Advanex Incorporation, Ian will have full responsibility for achieving the ambituous growth plans for Advanex Europe. These include growing the business to £30million turnover within the next 5 years by developing key markets such as medical, aerospace and automotive and expanding the European distribution network for the groundbreaking KATO inserts.
Ian brings extensive experience of engineering, sales and manufacturing with previous positions including appointments at ElringKlinger and Henkel Loctite. Paul and Ian have been working closely together to ensure a smooth transition of the business and continuity of leadership. Over the years Advanex Europe has enjoyed steady growth with a 40% increase in sales since 2012.
When asked to comment on his recent appointment, Ian Beardsmore highlighted, “I am thrilled to become Managing Director and will drive the business forward to achieve our ambitions. With a team of just under 200 people, Advanex Europe is based on 2 sites within Nottinghamshire; Glaisdale Drive in Bilborough and Mill Park Way in Southwell.
Advanex manufacture millions of springs and other precision metal components for industries including medical & pharmaceutical, aerospace, electronics and the automotive markets. Advanex has over 22 operations across the globe in locations such as Japan, Singapore, Thailand, China, America, Mexico, Vietnam, Europe, India and Indonesia.
