Our KATO Inserts are AGS3700-3799 Qualified
Advanex Europe, through its KATO brand, are delighted to have been qualified to manufacture inserts from the AGS3700-3799 standard.
The AGS3700-3799 specification, formerly owned by the Society of British Aerospace Companies (SBAC), is for wire thread inserts made from Nimonic 90 material and silver plated to be used in high temperature applications by world-renowned aerospace companies.
After engaging with the Society of Automotive Engineers, we are pleased to qualify for the 10-32, 1/4-28, and 5/16-24 range of inserts added to TS200 after passing the final qualification testing in November 2022.
This standard is an important part of the aviation industry and comes with great heritage; we are proud to be on course for full AGS3700-3799 qualification.
Advanex are due to qualify for the remaining sizes on the spec early in 2023 – we look forward to servicing our customers with the full range of our AGS3700-3799 inserts.
