The opportunity

We are looking for a Systems & Compliance Technician to maintain company management systems and legal compliance are performed in a timely manner and that documentation required by the management system is collected and controlled.

The Role

The responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to:

  • To assist in the analysis and verification of information to ensure compliance to legal, regulatory and system requirements.
  • To assist in updating system documentation and communicate to carry forward lessons learned from identified concerns.
  • To assist in introduction and control of new systems and procedures where appropriate.
  • To assist in the management of regular internal and external process audits of the Management System.
  • To ensure that defined activities are performed in line with the management system and escalate situations when they are not.
  • To produce written reports.
  • To deputise for other department members as required
  • To attend and present at meetings as necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
  • To attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
  • To suggest and assist with improvement recommendations for the department or Company.
  • To report any hazards or near misses using iAuditor.
  • To always represent and promote our Company and our values in a positive light in line with Company policies.
  • To perform any other duties as reasonably required by your Manager or a Director.
  • To attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
  • To perform role in line with Advanex Fundamentals whilst demonstrating Company Core values.


The person

For this role, it is essential that you have the following:

  • Good knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO45001 & AS 9100.
  • Environmental legislation
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer literate
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to follow instructions and processes
  • Good analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP)
  • Motivated to work alone and be a part of a busy team.
  • A positive ‘will do’ attitude
  • Strong work ethics
  • Ability to engage with various stake holders within the organization
  • Methodical & Structured
  • Can remain calm under pressure
  • Enthusiasm and desire to learn




  • ICA qualified
  • MeasurLink
  • Internal auditing experience
  • Previous experience in manufacturing /engineering environment
