The opportunity

We are looking for an administrator to support our commercial team.

The Role

The responsibilities of this role will include but are not be limited to:

  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to maintain/grow business and support relevant KPIs.
  • Supporting the commercial team to ensure all systems and processes are supported and followed in line with company management systems and external standards such as ISO9001.
  • Maintaining an overview of and supporting processes and orders (from customer order entry through to final dispatch and final payment).
  • Ensuring sales orders are entered in a timely and accurate manner and acknowledged to the customer.
  • Managing and communicating with customers to support their requirements and ensure internal stakeholders are aware of these.
  • Supporting the commercial team to accurately respond to customer requests for quotes, progress and delivery requests.
  • Maintaining accurate customer (CRM) data.
  • Supporting Operations to achieve delivery on time, in full.

 

The person

For this role, it is essential that you have the following:

  • Minimum of Level 2 Maths and English or equivalent (GSCE pass).
  • Administration experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a professional manner.
  • Ability to accurately follow instructions and processes.
  • Strong work ethic, ‘will do’ attitude and desire to learn.
  • Motivated working alone and as part of a busy team.
  • Able to work effectively with stakeholders/customers.
  • Good timekeeping and attendance.

 

Desired:

  • Experience using EFACS or similar ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
  • Previous experience of working in a precision engineering/manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of working with customers/customer service.
