In this newsletter we take a look at our top news stories that include our double award win, the European Business Awards, our annual surveys, our opening hours over the Christmas holidays, some of fantastic fundraising achievements and details of our recent long service awards. We would like to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and New Year! Here’s to 2017!           Double Award Win Success Advanex Europe has won awards for Business of the Year and Technology in Business at The Newark Business Awards 2016. We endured a rigorous application process to win the Technology in Business Award, which looked at various aspects of the business such as manufacturing processes, innovation and financial performance. We were then also awarded the Business of the Year Award when assessed against winners from each other category. Well done to teams at both sites - we might need a bigger trophy cabinet soon! European Business Awards – We Will Need Your Votes! We recently announced that we will be representing the UK for The UKTI Award For Innovation at The European Business Awards. This is fantastic news for Advanex and we have been busy putting together a short video on why people should vote for us. The process is opening for voting in January 2017 and we will let you know details of how to vote for us soon. 4 New Team Members Join Our 25 Year Club We have recently held our annual Long Service Awards Dinner or our ‘25 Year Club’ as some like to call it! This year we were delighted to welcome Paul Clifford, Ian Haigh, Mark Large and Simon Fryer. This year the total service of all the members who joined the celebrations was a staggering 663 years! This is fantastic news and we look forward to welcoming more team members next year... Annual customer surveys In the coming weeks you will be invited to complete our Annual Customer Survey. We issue these to our customers each year, as we are always keen to understand where we are performing well and those areas in which we can do better. Please look out for your email invitation to complete the survey – we really appreciate your feedback. Charity update Being busy across both sites doesn’t stop our teams when it comes to fundraising! Our team members have recently raised over £1000 for Cancer Research UK by completing the 10,000 steps challenge. This is a great way to keep fit and support a worthwhile cause. Well done to everyone who took part! We will reopen on Tuesday 3rd January.
