Advanex Europe was born when KATO Precision was formed as the European headquarters for the Advanex Group. (It is here where the first KATO Tangless® insert was developed and manufactured)
1993
KATO Precision partnered with KATO Entex (formerly Entex Springs) who were renowned for their spring design and manufacturing knowledge in the UK.
1995
All manufacturing of “KATO®” Wire Inserts were transferred to the UK.
1997
Kato-Entex were approved to the new Automotive Quality Standard QS9000.
1999
Installed the first Cleanroom Facility in a UK Spring Factory for entering the Medical and Pharmaceutical markets.
2004-2006
Bespoke production machines and processes continued to be designed and built in house to increase production speeds.
2010
In October 2010 the two companies (Kato-Entex + Kato Precision) merged to form Advanex Europe Ltd.
2010-2014
Continued internal development of bespoke production machines increasing speeds by 5 times as well as the capability to produce the World’s smallest wire insert.

Advanex Europe (including KATO®) are one of the World Leaders in the Spring, Threaded Insert and Precision Component Markets.
